A little more about how I work, what I value, and the direction I want to keep developing in.
I’m a Faroese maritime professional with experience from both fishing and aquaculture vessels. I like being part of the operation rather than standing on the side of it, and I’m comfortable taking responsibility both on the bridge and on deck.
I tend to work best when things are practical and clear. If there is a problem, I usually want to understand what is actually causing it before deciding what to do. I value straightforward communication, people knowing their responsibilities, and a crew that can rely on each other when things get busy.
I’m still building my experience and qualifications, and my goal is simply to keep developing as a deck officer, take on more responsibility over time, and become someone people are comfortable having beside them when the job gets demanding.
